Elk
The North American Elk is a tremendously large animal. The mature bull can stand
over 5 feet at the shoulder, and weigh upwards of 1000 pounds. The bulls' antlers
may be up to 5 feet long and weigh up to 40 pounds. There are over
100,000 Rocky Mountain elk resident to Wyoming, meaning that hunters who acquire the licenses
have an excellent shot at harvesting one of these animals.
We offer some limited elk hunting, both archery and rifle. Archery is a classic
September hunt during the rut. This can be a very demanding hunt, but also very
rewarding. Rifle hunts are spot and stalk and are also very rigorous, with most of
the hunting taking place in hilly, forested areas. Please contact us if you are
