Horse Creek Outfitting is owned and operated by Bob and Ruth Friess,
and based in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We offer a variety of guided hunts to fit the
interests of any Western hunting enthusiast. We offer guided archery and rifle
Antelope, Mule Deer and Elk hunts, as well as Merriam Turkey hunts.
Bob has been hunting professionally in Wyoming for the past 20 years, both as
a professional guide and an outfitter. He is Red Cross Certified in both
First Aid and CPR. He has won several awards from the Wyoming Guides and Outfitters
association, and has been featured in outdoor hunting publications. He is a very
capable and experienced hunter as well, having harvested his first Western animals
in 1963.
Horse Creek Outfitting will assist you in applying for licenses of species in the
areas we are authorized to hunt in. We ask for a deposit of 25% of the Hunt Price
to confirm the booking, which is returned if no licenses are drawn. An additional
50% is due after successfully drawing a license, and the remaining 25% is due before
the start of the hunt.
We are flexible about accommodations. Most hunts are priced to include lodging in
a local motel. A continental breakfast and a day lunch are provided. The evening meal
is your responsibility. We can accommodate some personal camping on our property
northwest of Cheyenne for a modest daily fee, which includes water, electricity and
showers.
We will take care of all aspects of caring for your trophy: skinning, caping, and
freezing, or we will work with a local taxidermist if you leave your trophy here. We
will help you make arrangements to care for your game through local meat processors, or
we will quarter the animal to get it ready to take home with you.
We provide accurate and honest information to our potential clients. We will strive to
custom fit your dietary, arrival, departure and transportation needs as much as possible.
We want your hunt to be trouble-free.
